oK here is my interview with Phil, enjoy!!
About Phil, Born in Frankfort,KY and grew up in Ft. Lauderdale,FL,moving back to KY when he was 16,and went to the University of Kentucky where Phil majored in Music Performance,He states Samuel Jackson as his favorite actor,stating that "That guy is the absolute coolest ever.." Phil favorite color "is definitely BLACK"
Dj Kris2fur---"How did you end up the drummer for Lennon?
PHIL---" I got the gig thru Techs..he and I used to be in a band together called "BLUE HONEY" only he was the singer instead of the guitar player... it's really a shame that,that band had to split up becuz it was such a KILLER band...kinda like a hard rockin,ass kickin,party band who knew a little TWO WELL how to have a good time....man we used to get CRAZY!!!! Anyway Techs called me up at the beginning of this past year to see if I would be interested in the gig and I said"sure,I'll give it a shot", and I've been here ever since.."
Dj Kris2fur----What are your musical inspirations?
PHIL---" I think my very first was my grade school music teacher...she was soooo HOT and I had the biggest crush on her...from there I think it was probably Neil Peart,Tommy Aldridge,Ace Frehley,even though he wasn't a drummer,I just thought he was the coolest. Also I'd have to say Elvis and Johnny Cash...they were just larger than life to me and seemed to be the coolest people,so I think thats some of the things that have inspired me in the past....."
Dj Kris2fur----Favorite Lennon songs playing live?
PHIL--"hmmmm???? I really like playing "Goodbye" becuz 1. the drum beat is the most fun beat in the world to play and 2. during the bridge part of the tune,Lennon turns around to me and jumps up and down,so that is like the only part of the show that I get to see her boobs bouncin up and down Haaaaaa!! Oh Yeah...Goatfucker is pretty damn fun too,it's just such slammin song thatyou gotta love beating the shit ouuta some drums to it.."
Dj Kris2fur---What would you like to let people know about yourself?
PHIL---"hmmmm.... that's the sort of difficult question,I think that I would rather have a person get to know me on their own rather than have me simply tell them somethin about myself."
Dj Kris2fur--- Your favorite cds to listen to?
PHIL--"That could take forever to explain...I have such a wide range range of music that I listen to..I'm pretty much fond of everything NEW, I'm always craving new music.. I like everything from Latin Music to Hard Rock,Metal and even a little bit of Rap,..it's just gotta have some good rhythm and I'll be totally digging it..I think my CD for today is the new Queens of THE Stone Age also ANYTHING from CLUTCH..."
Dj KRIS2FUR----OF the new material ,what songs are standing out?
PHIL---To me I think "GOODBYE" ,Down The Line", and "Another for Another" have the biggest "HIT" potential...but I think that "And You" have been going over the best at the live shows and we haven't even recorded that one yet..."
Dj Kris2fur---What besides Drums,do you enjoy about Music?
PHIL--" Every single thing about it..I would die without it. It can have so many different effects on me,it can calm me,it can take me to a different world,or it can make me just wanna go ape shit and beat the hell outta somethin,.It's been such an important part of my life for so many years that no matter where I am or what I am doing,there is always a song playing in my head...

Interview with Lennon's Bassist, Stone...
Stone was born December 27th, in Niagra Falls,NY, has two brothers,Chucky and Bear,favorite colors are blue and black and states "A Bronx Tale" and "A Clockwork Orange" as his favorite movies.
Dj Kris2fur-- How did you become the new bassist for Lennon ?
Stone-"Lennon was doing some pre production for the new CD in Orlando,Florida and was asking around for a Bass Player. I was refered by an old sound man from a past band. I jumped on the oppurtunity,I was a fan of Lennon's already!"
Dj Kris2fur--How is the "Goodbye 2002 Tour" going?
Stone-- "I'm having a blast. I have enjoyed meeting all the people,who come out to the shows,everyone has made me feel welcome!"
Dj Kris2fur-- What songs do you like performing live,the best?
Stone--" Of the new material,I'd have to say "Rain" and "Reason to Complain". Actually there all fun to play. For the 5:30 material,"Morning" and "Property of GoatFucker"...
Dj Kris2fur-- Of the new Material,what stands out the most?
Stone--"I really like "Nothing Out Of Me" ,"One or The Other" and "Goodbye,Personally I am very proud of what everyone did in the studio and proud to put my name on it."
Dj Kris2fur-- Your Musical influences?
Stone-- Gene Simmons...If it weren't for Kiss, I wouldn't have ever wanted to be a Bass Player!"
Dj Kris2fur--Besides playing Bass,what do you enjoy about playing music?
Stone--"That is pretty simple for me,Making people happy and watching the way they react when they hear a song they like,it feeds me when I'm on stage"

Stone--"I play a little guitar,and sing,but not enough to say I do,lol"

Stone--" I wanted to see them when I was 12 but I didn't then...I did see them during the no make up tours,but I wouldn't go see them now..I wanted to see Kiss as pissed off kids not old business men..Destroyer is the record,and I'd say GOD OF THUNDER,probably as the song"
Dj Kris2fur:How did you first hear of Lennon?prior to joining the band,ever seen her live?
Stone:" I saw something of her on MTV,and thought it looked and sounded interesting....I was going to go to the show at the Back Booth,in Orlando,but I was getting tattooed at the time,and it kinda went longer than I thought and so I missed the show..."
Dj Kris2fur--- your thoughts on the Lennon Message Board, ?
Stone-- " I like it ,I like to see Feedback from the people who at the shows,..both good and bad..."

The new stuff has been recorded and mastered,look for the new cd to be released early spring 2003,right now She is going with the title "Goodbye" Lennon has gotton out of her contract with Arista records,and currently is without a label,but I'm sure that a label that will promote her right will pick up one's of today's biggest rising stars..
